Jeremy Donnelly

Jeremy Donnelly practices in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation. He represents individuals in state and federal courts facing a wide range of allegations, including bank fraud, racketeering, homicide, conspiracy, DUI, narcotics and firearms offenses, computer crime, and assault. His civil practice includes contract disputes, civil fraud, civil RICO defense, and unfair trade practices, among other complex matters.
His work in white‑collar and complex criminal cases has been recognized by The Legal 500 United States, which named him to its Connecticut Elite rankings.
Jeremy has argued multiple cases before the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts. His representative matters include: Anderson v. Town of Bloomfield, 203 Conn.App. 182 (2021); Tedesco v. Agolli, 182 Conn.App. 291 (2018); Geriatrics v. McGee, 332 Conn. 1 (2019); Wagner v. Our Lady of Mount Caritas, OSB, Inc., 157 Conn.App. 788 (2015); and Baker v. Comm’r of Corr., 91 Conn.App. 855 (2005).
Most disputes never reach trial. Jeremy represents individuals and businesses in arbitrations and mediations, and has guided student‑athletes through NCAA investigations.
He served as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law from 2011 to 2016. He is an active member of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Mystery Writers of America, and the West Hartford American Legion: Hayes‑Velhage Post 96.
